OUR APPROACH

MSL Medical Services Ltd provides unique services to corporate and other employers managing staff well-being, including sickness absence.  Key components of this provision are health and safety consultancy – training and stress mitigate/management.  The timing of our interventions are typically at one of two points, either while the individual is working but possibly struggling or during the planning and preparation for a return to work following a period of sickness absence.

Many if not all companies have complex needs as they oversee their workforce. MSL endeavours to identify and clearly articulate those needs with a view to anticipating and preventing avoidable problems. MSL aims to deliver a service that, in a cost-effective way, supports a company to promote an atmosphere where both employer and employee can work concordantly toward the employer’s stated aims and goals.

This is an all-encompassing approach to support employers in the management of the health and welfare of their employees and to facilitate the return to work of staff who may be having difficulty in returning to work.

Each situation is unique with its own particular circumstances that need to be understood and acted upon with compassion and dignity. The promotion and development of trust is the foundation, and cornerstone of a successful outcome for both employer and employee.

Engaging with both employer and employee and fundamentally understanding both parties’ needs for an outcome that is mutually acceptable and is the ultimate goal that MSL Medical Services Ltd aspires to achieve. MSL Medical Services Ltd recognises that there is an incredible amount of legislation and red tape that restricts the employer’s ability to manage and operate their businesses and the issues and problems relating to the retention, promotion, and development of staff.

The MSL Medical approach is to provide independent specialist services to facilitate the needs of both parties, to the mutual benefit of both, rather than to the detriment or exclusion of one party. Development of an inclusive approach promoting practical, sound solutions that have minimal cost implications, is the ideal solution that MSL Medical wishes to deliver to both parties. Fostering a partnership approach with realistic timeframes and adapting of environments to meet the identified needs of the employees demonstrates a realistic approach that can manage the expectations of all parties and sit within a positive work environment.

This approach will promote a positive work culture for both employees and employers, assisting in the retention and recruitment of staff, increase productivity and quality, and enhance the existing reputation of companies going forward.
